About the Committee of Infrastructure Planning and Management
The Committee of Infrastructure Planning and Management (IP) was established in 1966 as one of the Research and Studies Committees of Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) (the other committees of JSCE can be found at here). The mission of the IP is to contribute to develop better society through promoting the research about infrastructure planning and management in the civil engineering field. Our activities are:
- to organize the biannual conference (Spring and Autumn Conference) ,
- to publish the “Proceedings of Infrastructure Planning” in both conferences and the special edition of Journal of JSCE (“Infrastructure Planning Review”),
- to organize the symposium, lecture & training workshop, 1-day seminar, international seminar,
- to publish books, handbooks, textbooks,
- to promote the information sharing among the members of IP.
